All 26 winners of 'The Voice' ranked from least to most successful
"The Voice," which just premiered season 27, has been one of the most popular TV shows since 2011 but hasn't produced any mega-stars.

- "The Voice" started in 2011, and the 27th season premiered last month.
- In honor of the latest season, we've ranked the last 26 winners from least to most successful.
- We considered chart history, the success of other contestants, and social media followers.
"The Voice" premiered in 2011 as a brand-new take on the singing competition show.
Instead of simply having celebrity judges critique contestants, four musical icons were recruited as "coaches." They would battle each other via a team of hopeful stars selected after blind auditions.
In the nearly 14 years since, there have been 27 seasons of "The Voice." But while the show is a ratings hit and attracts A-list talent like Ariana Grande, Adam Levine, Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Miley Cyrus, John Legend, and more, its winners haven't enjoyed the same level of success as, say, some "American Idol" winners.
Nevertheless, we used streaming numbers, chart success, social media, and the careers of other musicians in each season to determine which winner of "The Voice" has had the best career (and which ones could use a little boost).

By default, Vasquez has to be at the bottom of this list because he only won in December 2024.
The 32-year-old has 83,400 followers on Instagram and regularly posts about upcoming shows and other events, but he hasn't put out any music yet.

In May 2014, Josh Kaufman won season six.
Since winning, Kaufman, 48, hasn't had any original music hit the Billboard charts. He's also only released one album, 2019's "Ndoxo, Vol. 1."
In 2017, he appeared in a Broadway holiday medley show called "Home for the Holidays," hosted by "Bachelorette" lead Kaitlyn Bristowe and co-headlined by "American Idol" winner Candice Glover.
He has 27,900 Instagram followers.
The main thing working against Kaufman, though, is the fact that both the late Christina Grimmie and controversial (yet highly successful) country star Morgan Wallen were on his season — they're easily the most talked-about contestants from season six.
Plus, most of his recent songs on Spotify have only been listened to around 1,000 times.

Maelyn Jarmon won season 16 in May 2019.
Almost six years later, we're still waiting for Jarmon, 32, to release her first album or any single, but her advantage is her Instagram following, which is at 58,400 followers. She also has a presence on TikTok.
According to social media, new music will be released in the spring, but until then, we can't put her any higher.

HaVon, 33, has released one song since winning "The Voice," but he only won in May 2024, so it's been less than a year.
Two fun facts about HaVon: He's the first LGBTQ+ winner in the history of "The Voice" and he was the first winner for coach Reba McEntire.
According to his Instagram (where he has 103,000 followers), his second single since winning is set for a May release. His first post-win song, "Thank You," came out in November 2024 and has been streamed around 27,000 times.

The second winner of "The Voice" was Jermaine Paul. He won in May 2012.
Paul, 45, unfortunately was more successful before he went on "The Voice." He had even been nominated for a Grammy!
But 13 years on, Paul has failed to chart any singles on the Hot 100, had one song peak at No. 27 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart in 2013, and his most successful song on Spotify is from January 2012 — before he was on the show.
He's not on Instagram.
Paul also has the success of other contestants from his season working against him, like Chris Mann, Juliet Simms, and Raelynn.

Right above Jermaine Paul is the first-ever "Voice" champion, Javier Colon, who won in June 2011.
Colon, 46, will forever be known as the first "Voice" winner, but Kelly Clarkson he is not. He has 26,000 followers on Instagram and a thriving TikTok presence.
But, unfortunately, he hasn't had a song chart on the Hot 100 since his season, and he has only released one album, "Gravity," which came out in 2016. His highest-charting album actually came in 2003, years before he ever appeared on TV.

Todd Tilghman, a 47-year-old pastor, won the 18th season in May 2020.
Since then, he's steadily released singles like "Still To Come," "PB&J," "Love Me," Daylight," and most recently in March 2025, "Holy Place." His most successful (non-"Voice") single, "Jesus And You," has 252,000 streams on Spotify.
He has a perfectly respectable 45,600 followers on Instagram.

Huntley, the 24th winner of "The Voice," was coach Niall Horan's second win, making Horan a back-to-back champion after his team member Gina Miles won season 23.
As Huntley (real name Michael Huntley) was only crowned in December 2023, we'll have to wait and see how his career pans out.
But the 35-year-old is off to a strong start, with over 95,700 followers on Instagram already and two singles with over 100,000 streams on Spotify.

Carter Rubin, who is just 19, is one of the more recent "Voice" champions, earning the trophy during season 19 in December 2020.
His debut single, "Horoscope," was announced in 2021 and has around 290,000 streams on Spotify.
His most recent single, "Creek Rd," was released in November 2024, and his debut EP, "I Still Know Nothing," was released in July.
He has a cool 63,900 followers on Instagram.

Cam Anthony took home the trophy during season 20 in May 2021.
Before his win, Anthony, now 23, was actually already successful as a pre-teen YouTube star.
Aged 12, Anthony sang the national anthem at the White House and performed on "Ellen." He was profiled in 2014 by The Source, who called him a "singing child prodigy."
In 2018, when he was 16, he won a show at the Apollo on the Fox reality show "Showtime at the Apollo," reported The Philadelphia Sun.
However, through all of that, he never officially recorded his own original music, leading him to "The Voice" in 2021. He won and subsequently began recording new music. His most recent single, "Keep It Between Us," dropped in July 2022 and has over 217,000 streams. However, it's been three years and we haven't gotten any music since then.
Anthony has over 66,100 subscribers on YouTube and 180,000 followers on Instagram.

Craig Wayne Boyd was crowned the season seven winner in December 2014.
Boyd, 46, has released two albums, "Top Shelf" and "The Early Years, Vol. 1," since his win back in 2014.
He did have a No. 1 song on the Hot Country chart, but it was one of his songs from "The Voice," and he hasn't had much success since. His Instagram follower count sits at 31,000.
He also released a five-song EP, "From the Inbetween," in 2019 and released a single in May 2024 called "Blood Sweat & Beer."
His 2023 single, "One Line Away," has over 386,000 streams on Spotify, boosting his ranking.
What gives him the slight edge over others on this list is that the only other famous person from his season is Bryana Salaz, who starred in the Netflix series "Team Kaylie."

Bryce Leatherwood, the winner of season 22 in December 2022, was Blake Shelton's final winner on the show.
As he only won a few years ago, Leatherwood, 25, hasn't had much time to make his mark — though, he has plenty of shows lined up, according to his website.
Leatherwood released his debut single in October 2023, "The Finger," which has around 419,000 streams on Spotify. His debut album, "Bryce Leatherwood," will be released in May 2025, and the singles released so far ("Where The Bar Is" and "Hung Up On You") have both been streamed hundreds of thousands of times.
"Hung Up On You," specifically, found success on country radio, per Country Now.
He has 105,000 followers on Instagram.

Gina Miles won season 23 in May 2023.
Miles, 21, became Niall Horan's first win as a coach — in his first season on the show.
She's already released an EP, "Who Are You," and released a cover of "Wicked Game" in 2024 that has over 460,000 streams, so we can assume big things are in store for Miles. She also opened for Horan for two of his shows during his latest tour.
She has 96,300 followers on Instagram.

Season 12's winner was Chris Blue in May 2017.
The 35-year-old singer found success on the R&B charts with his covers on the show, but post-"Voice," Blue is still waiting for a real breakout.
However, he is consistently releasing music. He had the 2019 album "Fresh Start," a 2019 Christmas album "One Light," and most recently, a Gospel album in 2024 called "Foundation: The Hymns Of My Heart."
In fact, "Foundation" reached No. 8 on the Top Gospel Albums chart, making him a relatively rare chart success in this franchise.
He has 98,100 followers on Instagram, which dings him a few points.

Chloe Kohanski, also known as chloe mk and sweet93, earned the most votes in season 13 back in December 2017.
Kohanski, 31, released her first EP in 2019, called "Fantasy," and a single, "Cosmic," in 2020. It's since garnered over 1.8 million streams. Another single, "David Bowie," has 1.4 million streams.
She's one of the rare "Voice" contestants whose original music outperforms her covers on Spotify as well, pointing to her popularity.
She's also garnered 48,900 followers on Instagram and has topped Billboard's Emerging Artist chart multiple times.
In 2020, she announced she was parting ways with Republic Records (like many "Voice" contestants do), so we'll see what's next for Kohanski. In 2021, she released her first album, "All the Same Ok."
More recently, she has been releasing new music under the name sweet93, like the single "What's True?" in October 2024.

Jake Hoot won season 17 in December 2019.
Hoot, 36, reunited with his coach, Kelly Clarkson, for a duet in February 2021, "I Would've Loved You," which peaked at No. 1 on the Country Digital Song chart and has over 4.8 million streams on Spotify.
He also released his second EP, "Fan Made Tapes," in January 2022. His latest single, a cover of "Feliz Navidad," dropped in December 2024.
But he hasn't found much success on his own. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry many times, and he has a respectable 82,200 followers on Instagram, but we have a feeling he'll hit some higher highs later in his career.

The season 21 champs were the folk trio Girl Named Tom. They were crowned in December 2021.
Girl Named Tom, which consists of Caleb Liechty, Joshua Liechty, and Bekah Liechty, had a career before "The Voice," though they had only released music independently. When they won, they became the first-ever trio to win "The Voice."
They've been successful since. The band has 159,000 followers on Instagram and released a Christmas album, "One More Christmas," in November 2022. One of the songs, "Helplessly Hoping," has over 2.7 million streams.
Their single, "Get a Little Lost," was released in March 2024.

Sundance Head was named the winner of season 11 in December 2016.
While Head has a smaller Instagram following than other winners (30,000 followers), the 46-year-old singer has released four albums, and his coronation song, "Darlin' Don't Go," peaked at No. 67 on the Hot 100.
That song also peaked at No. 4 on the Hot Country chart. Head also had a cover, "Me and Jesus," top the Hot Christian chart.
His most recent album, "Starting Again," came out in September 2022.

Former child star Alisan Porter won season 10 of "The Voice" in May 2016.
Porter, who used to be best known for playing the titular role in "Curly Sue," is now a singer and an influencer, with over 122,000 followers on Instagram.
Porter, 43, had her coronation song reach No. 100 on the Hot 100, but she hasn't had a single there again.
Her pre-"Voice" album, "Who We Are," is still her highest-charting album, which peaked at No. 20 on the Americana/Folk chart.
But she's still releasing music. She had an album come out in 2019, "Pink Cloud," and an EP in June 2024 called "The Ride." Porter is also a vocal coach.

Tessanne Chin won the fifth season in December 2013.
Chin has one of the biggest followings of any "Voice" winner, with over 308,000 followers on Instagram.
But the 39-year-old singer's social-media success hasn't really translated to the charts. At the time of her win, her first post-show release had the lowest sales of any "Voice" winner at the time, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
However, the album did peak at No. 41 on the Billboard 200, which is now something that rarely happens to "Voice" winners. She also was asked to perform at the White House in 2014.
She dropped a single, "Surreal," in January 2023.

Season 15's winner in December 2018 was Chevel Shepherd.
This 22-year-old has found success as a country singer. Her coronation song hit No. 1 on the Country Digital Song Sales charts (and had two other top 10s on it, as well), and she reached the top of the Emerging Artist chart.
Shepherd also released a country album in 2020, "A Good Ol' Country Christmas." She dropped a seven-track EP, "Everybody's Got a Story," in March 2021.
Her single "Lookin' for Loretta" was released in February 2023.
She also appeared in the 2022 film "Vengeance," directed by BJ Novak, and the 2023 film "Wildfire."
Shepherd has 127,000 Instagram followers.

In May 2015, Sawyer Fredericks took home season eight's trophy.
Fredericks, 25, set iTunes records when he appeared on the show, and his covers reached the top 10 of the iTunes singles chart every week.
Republic Records also said he came close to breaking the one-day download record with his song "Please."
"Please" also peaked at No. 37 on the Hot 100, and two of his albums reached the Billboard 200: 2015's "Sawyer Fredericks" and 2016's "A Good Storm."
Fredericks also found success on Country, Rock, and Alternative charts. His most recent album was released in 2020, called "Flowers for You," though he released an EP in 2023 called "The Golden Tree," and a single, "Funeral Parking Only," in March 2025.
His social media drags him down a bit though — he has 85,700 followers on Instagram — as does the success of his fellow contestant Koryn Hawthorne.

Brynn Cartelli, the youngest winner to date, took the title in season 14 in May 2018.
Cartelli won when she was 15. Now 21, she has 209,000 followers on Instagram.
Her top song on Spotify is her 2021 single, "If I Could," which has over 14.7 million streams, though she has other original songs like "Last Night's Mascara" with 12.9 million streams, "Secondhand Smoke" with 3.5 million streams, and "Love You in My Mind" with 6.6 million streams.
She released her debut full-length album, "Out of the Blue," in March 2024, with an extended version with three more tracks in January 2025. It performed well on the iTunes pop chart, peaking at No. 8.
Cartelli also was nominated for a People's Choice Award in 2018.

Jordan Smith won season nine in December 2015.
Smith, 31, made Billboard history in December 2015 when he held the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the Hot Christian Songs chart. That alone would secure him the third-place spot on this list, but Smith also reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with his debut album, "Something Beautiful," and No. 11 with his 2016 Christmas album, "'Tis the Season."
Songs from "'Tis the Season" are mega-successful; "Grown-Up Christmas List" has 59.5 million streams, while his cover of "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" has 7.3 million.
Overall, he's had three No. 1 songs on the Hot Christian Songs chart and three top 10s. He released his fourth album, "The People's Hymnal," in February 2025.
Smith also has 197,000 followers on Instagram, and he wrote the "Deadpool 2" song "Ashes," which Céline Dion performed in the film.
In 2022, Smith represented Kentucky in "American Song Contest," the American version of Eurovision. He performed the song "Sparrow." He came in third.

Former Hey Monday singer and season three champ Cassadee Pope won in December 2012.
Pope, 35, already had a following when she appeared on "The Voice," but she was competing in a completely new genre. As the lead singer of Hey Monday, Pope was part of the pop-punk scene, but on the show, she revealed she wanted to be a country singer.
Her debut album in 2013, "Frame by Frame," peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. She also got her own episode of "Lip Sync Battle," and she was even nominated for a Grammy in 2016. Currently, she has 595,000 Instagram followers.
In 2022, Pope announced she was stepping away from country music and returning to her pop-punk roots due to what she saw as pervasive sexism and anti-trans rhetoric, Rolling Stone reported.
Her latest album, "Hereditary," was released in July 2024. She dropped a single, "Bad Decisions," the following month.
Pope's season also had famous faces like Melanie Martinez, Loren Allred, and MacKenzie Bourg.

Danielle Bradbery won season four in June 2013.
Bradbery, 28, is a legitimately successful country singer. None of her top songs on Spotify are from "The Voice," and she had an original song peak at No. 58 on the Hot 100, as well as two original albums reaching No. 19 and No. 41 on the Billboard 200.
Her most-streamed song, "Stop Draggin' Your Boots," has an impressive 82 million streams. Another hit, "Sway," has 66 million streams.
She's also had seven songs on the Hot 100 and 15 songs on the Hot Country chart, with "Goodbye Summer" with Thomas Rhett peaking at No. 39 in 2018. Her 2020 single "Never Have I Ever" reached No. 58 on US Country Airplay. Additionally, she has 465,000 Instagram followers.
She was nominated at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards for new female vocalist of the year. She also appeared in episodes of "Nashville" and "Hart of Dixie."
In September 2024, she released her latest album, "Danielle."
