A woman dubbed the “Super Bowl Scammer” has stolen nearly $10,000 from victims across the Denver area, authorities said.

Arapahoe County Sheriff’s officials are trying to find a woman with the alias Gigi Levi who has successfully scammed victims in 2023 and 2024, according to a press release. The release stated the woman convinced several people in the Denver metro to purchase fake Super Bowl tickets, flights and hotel reservations.

In one instance, the woman posed as a Live Nation lawyer and convinced a couple to buy a $6,800 package that purported to include Superbowl tickets, airfare, and accommodations in Las Vegas in December 2023.

When the couple arrived at the Centennial Airport for their trip, they were told the plane they would fly on was struggling to land and they were convinced to purchase commercial tickets to Las Vegas that would be reimbursed. However, when the couple landed, they found people in similar situations and realized that the Super Bowl tickets and hotel accommodations did not exist.

In December, a couple was connected with the woman and invited her to their house to get to know her better. They paid $2,700 for Super Bowl and concert tickets that also turned out to be fake.

The “Super Bowl scammer” is described as a heavy-set Black woman, with a gap in her front teeth. Anybody with information on her identity can call a tipline at 720-874-8477.
