Arvada intersections blocked by several detached train cars cleared
Officials said the cars that had detached were reattached to the coal train faster than expected.

Detached train cars that were blocking several intersections in Arvada have been cleared, according an X.com post by the Arvada Police Department.
The cars decoupled from the coal train and did not derail, Arvada police officials said in a 4:27 p.m. post on X.com. No injuries were reported and the traincars had been blocking Oberon Road at Carr Street, W. 61st Avenue at Olde Wadsworth Boulevard and W. 60th Avenue at Pierce Street.
Officials said on X.com the cars that had detached were reattached to the coal train faster than expected.
Officials did not say what caused the decoupling.
