The Raleigh, N.C.-based group bought into the hot chicken concept after restructuring Cherry Bounce Hospitality has invested in the three-unit Nashville, Tenn.-based Party Fowl, which has restructured in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, the company said this week. The Raleigh, N.C.-based restaurant Cherry Bounce, which owns Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill, Trudy’s Tex Mex, Tower 7, and K-38 Baja Grill, said it plans to expand the Party Fowl concept in the Southeast. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Party Fowl, founded in Nashville in 2014, filed for bankruptcy protection in January. The concept offers hot chicken and slushies “We love the culture, resilience, drive and passion behind the Party Fowl brand — it’s inspiring,” Scott Taylor, Cherry Bounce CEO, said in a statement. “Our team looks forward to welcoming Party Fowl into our family of brands, supporting its continuing growth and helping up-level operations in this new partnership.” As part of the new partnership, Cherry Bounce plans to enhance Party Fowl’s offerings with menu innovations that will include a revamped lunch and fresh takes on its slushies. Plans are also in place to open at least two new locations in 2025. Cherry Bounce is a subsidiary of the private-equity group Hargett Hunter.
