A wide swath of the state from Telluride to Winter Park could receive between 1 and 4 inches of snow Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Vail, Aspen and Steamboat Spring could see between 1 and 2 inches, forecasters said.
The metro area likely won’t see much accumulation, and travel should be okay outside the San Juan mountains, NWS said. Still, there could be slick spots on mountain passes.
