The e-outdoor team is seeking for a provider to outsource the development of the electronic controls for its electrically assisted ski. The E-Skimo project has reached an advanced stage of development. In the previous phases, twitch a first version of the algorithm for assisted skiing. This algorithm uses sensors to detect the acceleration and movement of the skier's foot, implementing a control system that supports the skier in the various phases of skiing. The next phase, scope of this RFP, has the main objectives of creating a pre-production prototype of the overall electronics components. It involves transferring the results obtained from the first phase into the new powertrain assembly. The production system, to be developed in phase 3, it’ll be ported into custom electronics, but before proceeding, we want an intermediate step aimed on porting the system to the implementation using standard electronic components.
