Elon Musk's X is having outage issues
The system status page for X, formerly Twitter, reported "degraded operations" as of 11 a.m. ET as many users had difficulty accessing the app.

Elon Musk's X, formerly known as Twitter, is experiencing some issues this morning.
Many users are reporting issues accessing the service at various points on Monday.
The website's platform status dashboard reported "degraded operations" as of 11 a.m. Eastern Time. X.com
Earlier in the morning, third-party outage-tracking website DownDetector.com also reported tens of thousands of errors at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. Eastern Time for the social media platform.
X did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment.
The tech troubles come as a group of Democratic senators are asking the Justice Department to look into whether X has used Elon Musk's political status to pressure companies into advertising on the platform.
