* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following
county, San Miguel.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM MST Monday Dec 23.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Anglers and anyone near or in the San Miguel River should use
extreme caution and be on the lookout for ice and debris flowing
in the river. Move away from the river and seek higher ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 638 PM MST, local law enforcement reported flooding within
the San Miguel River between Placerville and Sawpit. Minor
flooding is already occurring.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sawpit, Placerville and Fall Creek.
