Flood Advisory issued July 1 at 12:27PM MDT until July 1 at 3:30PM MDT by NWS Grand Junction CO

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northwest Colorado, including the following counties, Moffat and Rio Blanco. * WHEN...Until 330 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1227 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.4 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
