* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Colorado, including the
following county, Pitkin.
* WHEN...Until 445 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams. Water over roadways. Some
low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water in
urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 134 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly north of Redstone, CO along Avalanche Creek and
Crystal River.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
CO highway 133, between mile markers 54 and 58.
