Two people were arrested after a shooting inside a Lakewood PetSmart on Friday afternoon, according to police officials.
Lakewood police responded to multiple 911 calls just before 4 p.m. about shots fired inside the store at 160 S. Wadsworth Blvd., according to the agency. No injuries were reported.
Officers swarmed the area and arrested one juvenile and one adult a short distance away from the store. Police also recovered guns during the arrest and shell casings near the store’s front door.
Investigators are still looking into the reason for the shooting but believe it’s an isolated incident, Lakewood police said.
