Winds are forecast to be from the southwest for much of the day before a shift to the northwest is forecast during the late afternoon as a cold front moves into the area. Blowing dust may reduce visibilities down to a mile or less at time is possible in the Watched areas, which may create delayed response times of first responders. The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from noon today to 7 PM MDT this evening.
