Thornton police still seeking leads in February arson, double homicide
Chad and Kendra Anderson were found dead in their burning Thornton home last month.

Police are asking for the public’s help in solving the deaths of two Thornton residents who were shot and whose home was torched in February.
Chad and Kendra Anderson were found dead in their burning home Feb. 26 after Thornton police and firefighters responded to the fire in the 16300 block of Columbine Street.
Both suffered gunshot wounds, though the cause and manner of their deaths were still under investigation March 7, when they were identified by the Office of the Coroner for Adams and Broomfield Counties.
“We know that this is a concerning situation for our community, and we are doing everything we can to support the Anderson family while also working tirelessly to find answers and bring whoever is responsible to justice,” Thornton police wrote in a statement Thursday. “We still have no information to suggest that this is anything other than an isolated incident.”
Anyone with information about the incident can contact investigators anonymously at 720-913-7867 or the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers website.
