After more than three months on hiatus, Season 8 of 9-1-1 is finally back with new episodes. We've put together everything you need to know about where to watch 9-1-1, whether you want to binge-watch old episodes or live stream Season 8.
Tonight marks the long-awaited return of 9-1-1, and it's shaping up to be a doozy of an episode. The premiere, which will air in two parts across two weeks, finds the crew at the 118 grappling with a serial killer. Based on the trailer (which you can find at the bottom of this page), Maddie appears to be caught in the crosshairs. It's a familiar threat level for fans of 9-1-1, a series about first responders facing ludicrous situations, from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear.
Peter Krause and Angela Bassett lead the cast, which is rounded out by Kenneth Choi, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Oliver Stark, Ryan Guzman, Aisha Hinds, and Gavin McHugh. The show previously aired on FOX but moved to ABC ahead of Season 7 in 2024. It joins an epic Thursday night lineup that includes network staple Grey's Anatomy and one of Murphy's latest projects, Doctor Odyssey (which will have a crossover with 9-1-1 later this month, per Variety).

Where to watch 9-1-1 in the US
New episodes of 9-1-1 air on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC in the US. If you don't have cable or an antenna, you can live stream the network through a variety of live TV packages, including Sling TV, Fubo, or DirecTV Stream. All three options are month-to-month subscriptions with no long-term contracts, so you can cancel at any time.
Sling TV is the cheapest way to live stream new episodes in the US. Subscriptions cost $46/month, but you can get your first month for just $23 right now. You'll need to subscribe to Sling Blue to access local channels, like ABC, but you should ensure that it's available in your region since local channel coverage is selective.
Fubo and DirecTV Stream are two other, slightly more expensive live TV packages that offer broad ABC coverage and free trials for new customers. DirecTV Stream carries 90+ live channels in its Entertainment plan, which costs $87/month and comes with a five-day free trial. Fubo carries 150+ live channels in its Pro plan, which costs $85/month and comes with a seven-day free trial.
If you want to get caught up on the past seven seasons of 9-1-1, or you don't mind waiting a day to watch new episodes, a Hulu subscription should be your go-to. The streaming service carries every episode of 9-1-1 on-demand, along with all episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star. Subscriptions start at $10/month for the ad-supported tier and come with a 30-day free trial.

ABC dropped an action-packed trailer for the Season 8 two-part return in early March.
