Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, John Turturro and Britt Lower in "Severance"

Severance just wrapped up its second season following a lengthy three-year-long hiatus. We've compiled everything you need to know about the show, including where to watch Severance, how many episodes are available to stream so far, and a look at the trailer.

Severance follows the employees at Lumon Industries, a biotech company, who undergo a "severance" procedure in order to work there, a brain chip that functions a bit like a hyper-evolved NDA. Severance creates two versions of a person, cleaving a second consciousness and a set of memories that only knows its work life. This way, people don't bring their work (and its secrets) home with them. Of course, it also means that some people never get to leave the office. This might sound a bit complicated, but the show has become must-see mystery-box TV with notes of ABC's Lost, HBO's Westworld, and Prime Video's Homecoming.

Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette lead the all-star cast, with a few exciting additions in the second season. The series, which first premiered in 2022, comes from Dan Erickson and Ben Stiller.

Below, we've outlined all of the relevant streaming info for Severance. Plus, we'll break down what you need to know about the future of the show.

Will there be a third season of Severance?

While the Season 2 finale left many wondering about the future of Severance, Apple TV Plus assuaged any fears of cancellation shortly after the finale dropped. The streaming giant renewed the series for a third season on March 21. Hopefully, there won't be quite as long a wait between seasons. "I would love to finish the show before I'm 70," creator Dan Erickson said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "I would hope that season 3 comes sooner."
