Many locations in the warning area have received 1 to 2 feet of snow during the past 48 hours. Periods of moderate to heavy wet snow, accompanied by 20 to 30 mph north winds, are anticipated overnight in far western portions of Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties, where temperatures will hover around 32 degrees and some additional snow accumulation is likely.
