* WHAT...After a lull in widespread heavy snowfall this morning areas of moderate to heavy snow expected above 8500 feet though the biggest impacts are likely to remain above 10000 feet. Additional snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches with locally higher amounts above timberline on favored peaks. * WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan Mountains. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
